Bird Watchers
Kingfishers is in the New Forest National Park. It is also on a Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Well known to the RSPB the immediate area is a breeding ground for rare species of coastal and migratory birds.
The Lymington Sea Wall is 200 yards from Kingfishers. From there a two-mile walk takes your binoculars and telephoto lens around some of the best bird watching that can be found. The salt flats and brackish water marshes are rare and special environments.
The Keyhaven Lymington Reserve is 700 hectares of rare salt marsh. https://www.hiwwt.org.uk
